Mt. San Antonio College's Language Learning Center is a state-of-the-art lab with some of the best facilities, software, and staff available in the United States.

Open Lab

There is a 71-station Open Lab that is used for independent study by language students studying Chinese, English as a Second Language (ESL), French, German, Italian, Japanese, Sign Language, or Spanish.

Smart Lab

There is a 36-station Smart Lab that is used by classes for language related activities. It is specially equipped to handle oral activities, such as paired discussions, oral recording, and oral assessments.

VHS Watching & Recording Stations

We have a few TVs with VCR players attached to watch various VHS tapes available to enhance learning. Also, there are stations available with VHS video cameras to record presentations and assignments.

Satellite TV

We offer satellite TV for French, German, Italian, and Japanese. This is useful for learners to aquire the natural rhythm of the language.

Sign Language Recording Stations

Students are able to record themselves signing simultaneously while watching a video or DVD.
